Couldn't have asked for better wedding photographers! My fiance and I got married in Roatan on 3/21/15 and booked Shawn and Maggie via the internet. We had never met them before the wedding so weren't quite sure what to expect, but were very impressed by their service from the moment they arrived. They were so organized, took control in a somewhat chaotic scene, and they blended right in and while doing their work. They suggested great shots before and after the ceremony. A few weeks after the ceremony we got our photos online (and were able to download them) and we were so impressed - the shots were gorgeous! There were color and black & whites, serious poses and fun poses, great sunset photos....we really couldn't be happier. I would highly recommend Jackson Photography!! We had an absolute blast while on our vacation/honeymoon in Roatan. Thanks to Shawn Jackson and his wife Maggie, we have absolutely amazing pictures to help us remember our big day. Both Shawn and Maggie were both professional but yet easy to work with. They were also very flexible with their time and met with us the day before to discuss details of our wedding ceremony. Maggie also helped with my flower bouquet, which was specially flown from the mainland. Shawn and Maggie made our wedding day so much fun by being clever and creative with the pictures. Because we had no specific plans for our ceremony, only an idea of exchanging vows and rings on the beach, we were happy they suggested the beautiful hotel grounds, garden and pool for additional photo opportunities. All the pictures turned out fantastic. It will be really hard to pick the best ones. Photography is the most important part of any big day. For me, I have worked with Maggie and Shawn on 3 different fashion shoots for West Indies Wear and always find them to be wonderful! They are professional, organized and energetic but with the type of relaxed island style that really helps to calm the nerves of any new model. Maggie has a wonderful sense of direction and shows you exactly how to get the best out of every photo and Shawn is an exceptionally talented photographer! The 3 shoots we have done together have been surprisingly different… The first we dealt with a brand new location, scorching hot day with sweaty faces and sand so hot that Shawn had to catch the perfect shot in seconds – the photos were so stunning that we knew we had found our photography match in heaven! The second was another beach day but the storm clouds rolled over and we were rained in, yet Shawn managed to capture the stunning storm clouds and sea that only accentuated the beautiful garments even more. The last was in the middle of a busy street and really showed Maggie & Shawn’s creativity and adaptability. I highly recommend Jackson Photography to all of you who are looking to capture your special day, whether it be a wedding, event, fashion shoot etc. The photos that they create are not just photos to stick up on your fridge… But art that will be cherished forever!
